"The genesis of this table is the heavy industrial centering core at the base. It set the stage for the round base and top. The base and top are made from scrap furniture cut offs. To add interest, I cut in a small piece on the top that sits perpendicular to the grain pattern. The finish is oil and wax... best to use a coaster for drinks!!" - Bob Grosse
